About Children of Fallen Heroes
Children of Fallen Heroes (CFH) is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2015 to serve the children and families of fallen military service members, Special Operators and first responders, while also serving foster youth, caregivers and Title One schools.
Through STEAM education, aviation programs, mentorship and community outreach, CFH connects young people with experiences that build confidence, leadership and opportunity. Its Dynamic Teams — the CFH Parachute Team and the CFH NEXT GEN indoor skydiving team — perform and compete nationally and internationally, and CFH programs reach communities across the country through events, schools and partner organizations.
CFH is developing America’s Campus for the Next Generation, its 82-acre campus in Moore County, North Carolina, as a permanent home for STEAM, aviation and leadership programs serving the next generation.

Why Children of Fallen Heroes Exists
Children of Fallen Heroes was shaped by a family history connected to the U.S. Army Golden Knights and the long-term impact a service-related loss can have on the children and families left behind. On March 8, 1973, an aircraft carrying fourteen members of the U.S. Army Parachute Team crashed at Silk Hope, North Carolina; the families of those soldiers lived with that loss for decades.
CFH was founded in 2015 on the understanding that the ceremony ends but the loss does not: children keep growing, and their questions, dreams and challenges change with every year. The organization exists to stand beside those children and families over the long term, and to carry the legacy of those who served forward through the lives it helps build.
