Children of Fallen Heroes was founded in 2015 to serve the children and families of fallen military members, Special Operators and first responders. Over eleven years, that work has grown to reach more than 15,000 youth and families across the country — expanding to include foster youth, caregivers and students in Title One schools.
Eleven years of programs, partnerships and delivered results have brought CFH to its next chapter: 82 acres in Vass, North Carolina, secured as the permanent home of America’s Campus for the Next Generation.

CFH has secured 82 acres in Vass, North Carolina as the permanent home of America’s Campus for the Next Generation — a long-term platform built to bring young people, educators, veterans, first responders, industry and community partners together in one place, year-round.

Where Things Stand
CFH currently delivers STEAM, aviation and leadership programs across the country. The program areas above describe what the 82 acres are being developed to support. Site development is underway; campus components are in planning and development, not yet operating on the property.
We’re Building on What Already Works
CFH is not asking partners to fund an untested idea. The program areas planned for America’s Campus for the Next Generation extend work CFH already delivers — in schools, at events and in communities across the country.
Robotics, drone technology and hands-on science delivered in schools and program settings.

Why Children of Fallen Heroes Exists
On March 8, 1973, an aircraft carrying members of the U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team crashed in Silk Hope, North Carolina, killing fourteen soldiers. Among them was the father of CFH’s founder.
Decades later, that loss helped inspire Children of Fallen Heroes — an organization built to stand beside the children and families left behind after the loss of those who served.

CFH is led by people who have operated in the environments this mission serves — military and Special Operations, first responder, aviation, education and business. That same leadership has delivered eleven years of programs in schools, at events and in communities nationwide, and now directs the development of America’s Campus for the Next Generation.
From National Programs to a Permanent Home
For eleven years, CFH has delivered programs and experiences wherever they were needed — event by event, city by city, partner by partner. Securing 82 acres changes what is possible next.
A permanent property will give CFH the ability to run year-round programming, host partners and student cohorts on site, build sustained relationships with educators and industry, and concentrate eleven years of proven programming into one location designed for it.
America’s Campus for the Next Generation is what will make that possible.

CFH is not building this alone. America’s Campus for the Next Generation is designed to be built with corporations, foundations, government agencies, educators, military organizations, first responders, veterans, nonprofits, universities, industry, philanthropists, community organizations and volunteers.
Participation is not limited to funding. Partners can contribute expertise, programming, mentorship, equipment, technology, workforce pathways, volunteerism and financial investment—creating multiple ways for organizations and individuals to help shape what comes next.
