Equine Workshops
Healing begins where words are not required.
Our original horseshoe star was created to honor a daughter who lost her father before she could know him. Today, that symbol lives on here—where children, caregivers, and families find connection, trust, and a path forward through grief.

Where It Started
The horseshoe star represents where Children of Fallen Heroes began. It was created to honor the children and families we serve and carried our mission through the first ten years of impact.
As the organization grew—reaching more families, expanding programs, and building a national vision—it became clear that our identity needed to reflect that growth.
A new logo was introduced to represent the next generation and a greater outreach.
The original horseshoe star remains part of who we are. It lives on within our equine program, honoring the foundation that started it all.
What These Workshops Provide
Connection
Horses respond to presence, not words—creating trust naturally.
Healing
A space where grief can be felt without pressure or explanation.
Growth
Confidence builds through simple, meaningful interaction.
Grief Looks Different for Everyone
For a child, it may be confusion.
For a caregiver, quiet strength.
For an elder, a lifetime of memories.
There is no timeline.
These workshops create space to slow down, breathe, and simply be present. Whether you come to find peace or to give support, you are part of the Children of Fallen Heroes family.
