Beauty & Wellness

The Children of Fallen Heroes Beauty & Wellness program blends creative expression, personal confidence, and holistic well-being. Participants explore the science and artistry of the beauty industry while developing healthy mindset habits and emotional resilience. Through mentorship and hands-on learning, students gain insight into cosmetology, wellness practices, and creative expression while building confidence and discovering potential career pathways.

Beauty Industry Foundations

Students learn the fundamentals of cosmetology including hair care, skin care, styling techniques, grooming, and professional presentation while understanding the science behind the beauty industry.

Creative Styling & Expression

Participants explore artistic styling, creative design, and beauty as a form of personal expression that encourages confidence and individuality.

Wellness & Self-Care

Workshops introduce healthy habits, stress management techniques, and self-care practices that support emotional well-being and resilience.

Confidence & Leadership

Students develop confidence, communication skills, and leadership qualities that help them grow both personally and professionally.

Kayla Fournier, CFH Director of Beauty and Weddings, leads the beauty mentorship portion of the program and brings professional industry experience to help students explore creative styling, cosmetology science, and the discipline required to succeed in the beauty industry.

Destiny Flynn, CFH Gold Star Wellness & Mentorship Director, guides the mindset and wellness component of the program, helping students build emotional resilience, confidence, and healthy life habits.

Linda Plummer, a certified grief counselor, supports students and families by helping guide conversations around healing, personal strength, and emotional well-being.

Please complete this form to request participation in Children of Fallen Heroes’ STEM+Arts programs. Programs include aviation, drones, robotics, digital media, agriculture & sustainable science, literacy, wellness, and creative learning. This request helps us match students from military, first responder, foster, caregiver, and Title One families with available opportunities across our campus and community initiatives. Submission does not guarantee placement. A CFH team member will follow up with next steps and scheduling options.
