Stories
The Stories Behind the Jewelry
Service leaves an example. Families carry it forward. Meet three families whose stories connect remembrance, perseverance and new possibilities for the next generation.

Story 01
Three Daughters. One Extraordinary Legacy.
Detective Ryan So was a U.S. Navy veteran, a Scottsdale Police detective, a husband and the father of three daughters.
After he was killed in the line of duty, CFH spent time with his wife and their girls in Scottsdale. Their father’s legacy remains part of their lives as they grow and discover their own possibilities.
We want every child we serve to know their future is still theirs to create.

Story 02
Tragedy Did Not Write Her Final Chapter.
After Deputy Richard “Keith” Bellar was killed in the line of duty, his wife, Brandi, faced raising their young family while building an unexpected future.
CFH shared a wind-tunnel experience with Brandi and her children at Paraclete XP. She went on to pursue her education and pass the North Carolina Bar Exam.
Her journey shows the next generation what determination and education can make possible.

Story 03
The Ceremony Ends. The Grief Does Not.
Marine Raider Staff Sergeant Liam A. Flynn was killed during a military training mission in 2015, leaving his wife, Destiny, and their young daughter.
An Army veteran, Destiny carries Liam’s memory forward while supporting other surviving families. She serves as CFH’s Wellness & Mentorship Director and shares her perspective through The Virago Spirit.
Her daughter has also flown with our Next Gen team—a shared experience that connects remembrance with new possibilities.
Flight • STEAM • Mentorship
One Flight Can Open a New World.
Indoor skydiving brings science, teamwork and confidence to life. Our Next Gen athletes help young people discover what is possible.
CFH creates experiences in flight, STEAM and mentorship for families of fallen military members and first responders, and youth who might otherwise miss these opportunities.
Thank you for helping open those doors for the next child and family.
Stay connected with our NEXT GEN programs and help us keep opening those doors.
