At Children of Fallen Heroes, land stewardship means responsibility, patience, and long-term vision. Our 82 acres are not being rushed into development. Instead, we are taking the time to care for the land properly — restoring it, protecting it, and preparing it to serve children, families, and communities for generations to come.
Site preparation is being executed with contracted land and forestry management professionals experienced in large-acreage stewardship. Current scope includes invasive species removal, trail restoration, pasture reseeding, and grading — sequenced so America’s Campus for the Next Generation is built without degrading the timber stands, watershed, and open acreage that make the property viable for long-term development.
We are also thankful for the support of Heli-Dunn, whose aviation expertise and partnership help us responsibly assess, access, and understand the land from a broader perspective. Their involvement strengthens our ability to plan safely, thoughtfully, and with long-term stewardship in mind.
Together, this work includes clearing invasive growth, restoring trails and pasture areas, grading and seeding responsibly, and improving the land while preserving its natural character. Every step is intentional. This is not about overbuilding or shortcuts — it’s about honoring the land and its role in our mission.
This property will become a place where children can learn through hands-on STEM+Arts experiences, where families can gather and heal, and where stewardship itself becomes part of the education. The care being taken today lays the foundation for everything that comes next.
