Children of Fallen Heroes has proudly partnered with the City of Graham since the inaugural 5K in 2021. This family-friendly event welcomes runners, walkers, and supporters of all ages to come together in remembrance and community spirit. Since the inaugural 9/11 Commemorative 5K in 2021, the City of Graham and its community have stood beside Children of Fallen Heroes in honoring those who gave their lives in service to our nation and communities.

What began with a 5K has grown into something much bigger — a relationship built on remembrance, service and investing in the next generation.

A Permanent Home for the Partnership

The Graham Commons

A permanent place honoring a community that never forgot.

In recognition of the City of Graham’s years of support for Children of Fallen Heroes, a special area of America’s Campus for the Next Generation will carry the Graham name.

Graham Commons will represent what this partnership has always stood for: community, service, remembrance and creating opportunities for the next generation.

Long after another 9/11 Commemorative 5K is complete, the City of Graham’s impact will have a permanent home on our 82-acre campus.
