Honoring a Hero. Investing in the Next Generation.
This fall, Children of Fallen Heroes will host the Whitaker Memorial Shoot on our 82-acre campus in Vass, North Carolina.
The event honors the life and legacy of Whitaker, a dedicated firefighter from Moore County, while celebrating the strength of his family. We first met Melissa and the boys through our indoor skydiving program years ago. Today, one son serves his community as a firefighter, while the other continues his passion for the outdoors and archery.
Through an 18-hole 3D archery course, families, volunteers, and supporters will come together to remember a hero, support youth, and create lasting memories.
Volunteers, sponsors, coaches, and participants are invited to help make this special event possible.

Jump for a Purpose
Every Jump Has a Story. Every Landing Creates Impact.
From Gold Star families and veterans to first responders and adaptive athletes, Jump for a Purpose brings people together through one unforgettable experience.
Recently, supporters gathered over Virginia Beach with Skydive Suffolk, Veterans and Athletes United, and an incredible team of pilots, instructors, videographers, volunteers, and ground crew. What began as a skydive became something much bigger—a chance to honor loved ones, build community, and inspire hope.
For many participants, the jump represents courage, healing, remembrance, and the opportunity to give back. For Children of Fallen Heroes, it represents our commitment to creating life-changing experiences that connect people through purpose.
Join us at an upcoming event and discover how one jump can make a difference.
