About Us

About Us
Children of Fallen Heroes is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the children and families of fallen military members, first responders, foster youth, caregivers, and students in Title One schools.

Founded in 2015 by Ken Wasley—after losing his father in the tragic U.S. Army Golden Knights plane crash of 1973—Children of Fallen Heroes was born from personal loss and built to create lasting impact.

Today, CFH provides healing experiences, educational programs, and leadership pathways through adventure-based learning, aerial and STEM+Arts programs, and wellness retreats. From parachute demonstrations and drone tributes to robotics training, school mentorship, and therapeutic retreats, we serve communities that often go unseen but deserve to be fully supported.

We are currently developing an 82-acre Retreat and STEM+Arts Center in Moore County, North Carolina, designed to be a national hub for youth empowerment, innovation, and remembrance.

In 2023, Children of Fallen Heroes was awarded the Platinum Pinnacle Performer of the Year by the International Council of Air Shows—placing our aerial team among the most respected in the country and honoring the emotional power of our tribute performances.

At Children of Fallen Heroes, we believe in turning pain into purpose, grief into growth, and legacy into leadership. Our goal is simple: to ensure that no child of a fallen hero ever walks alone.
