Dear Airshow Enthusiasts,
We are delighted to share some thrilling news from the heart of our airborne community. The Children of Fallen Heroes Parachute Team has been honored with the prestigious Pinnacle Platinum Performers award by the International Council of Air Shows (ICAS). This recognition is not just an accolade for our team; it's a celebration of the entire airshow industry and a tribute to those who have paved the way for excellence.
In the spirit of humility and respect, we extend our gratitude to all the performers, organizers, and volunteers who form the backbone of the airshow world. Your dedication has made our community a tight-knit family, and we are truly blessed to be a part of it.
At Children of Fallen Heroes, we believe in inspiring the future, and this award is dedicated to everyone who has supported us in our mission. From seasoned performers to enthusiastic volunteers, you've been the wind beneath our wings.
Our STEAM programs, which focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math, have now spread their wings into the world of aviation. We are thrilled to announce a groundbreaking partnership with the STEAM Aviation program. This 2.5-hour introduction to flight, hosted right here at Moore County Airport – the Home of Amelia Earhart and the Home of American Golf – promises an immersive experience.
The STEAM Aviation program offers a comprehensive package that includes classroom sessions, simulators, and hands-on flight experiences with expert instructors. Groups of four students will have the unique opportunity to explore the wonders of flight, fostering a passion for aviation and encouraging future leaders in the field.
As we celebrate this achievement, let's remember that the sky is not our limit but our starting point. We are grateful for the support that has propelled us to new heights, and we look forward to soaring even higher together as we build a 73,000 sqft Retreat and STEAM Education Center on aquired 82.5 acres just moments from Fort Bragg and Pinehurst, NC.
