Empowering Families in Moore County, NC – A Community Like No Other

The Children of Fallen Heroes Retreat & Education Center is proud to call Moore County, North Carolina, home. Nestled on 82 acres of scenic land near Fort Liberty (formerly Fort Bragg), our center offers a unique space to honor the legacy of our heroes while providing education, healing, and opportunity to their families.

Why Moore County?

Moore County, located in the heart of North Carolina, combines small-town charm with big opportunities. Known as the Home of American Golf, it features:

  • Pinehurst Resort: Host of the U.S. Open Golf Tournament, a global destination for golf enthusiasts.

  • Southern Pines & Aberdeen: Charming communities with vibrant arts, equestrian culture, and local attractions.

  • A growing population of over 106,000, known for its welcoming and family-friendly atmosphere.

Fort Liberty: Our Neighbors and Partners

Just a short drive away, Fort Liberty is one of the largest military installations in the world, home to:

  • Over 53,000 active-duty troops and 260,000 people, including military families, retirees, and civilian employees.

  • Prestigious military units like the XVIII Airborne Corps and the 82nd Airborne Division.

  • Key facilities, including Womack Army Medical Center and two airfields supporting critical Army and Air Force operations.

The proximity to Fort Liberty allows us to connect directly with military families and support their unique needs while honoring their sacrifices.
