The Children of Fallen Heroes Retreat & Education Center is proud to call Moore County, North Carolina, home. Situated on 82 acres of lush, scenic land near Fort Liberty (formerly known as Fort Bragg), our center serves as a unique space. Here, we honor the legacy of our heroes while offering education, healing, and opportunities to their families.

Why Moore County?

Moore County is located in the heart of North Carolina and combines small-town charm with big opportunities. Known as the Home of American Golf, it features remarkable attractions:

  • Pinehurst Resort: This is the host of the U.S. Open Golf Tournament and is a global destination for golf enthusiasts.

  • Southern Pines & Aberdeen: These are charming communities that offer vibrant arts, equestrian culture, and local attractions.

  • The population in Moore County exceeds 106,000 and is known for being welcoming to families.

Fort Liberty: Our Neighbors and Partners

Just a short drive from our center is Fort Liberty, one of the largest military installations in the world. It is home to:

  • Over 53,000 active-duty troops and 260,000 people, including military families, retirees, and civilian employees.

  • Prestigious military units, such as the XVIII Airborne Corps and the 82nd Airborne Division.

  • Important facilities, like Womack Army Medical Center and two airfields that support critical Army and Air Force operations.

The closeness to Fort Liberty allows us to connect with military families directly. We aim to support their unique needs while honoring their sacrifices.

The Retreat & Education Center

Our center is a sanctuary designed for healing, learning, and personal growth. Here’s a look at what we offer:

STEAM Programs

Our STEAM programs provide hands-on education that focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. These programs inspire the next generation of innovators and leaders.

We host therapeutic retreats that offer families a peaceful setting. These retreats encourage families to heal and reconnect in a supportive environment.

Community Events
