It is with heavy hearts that we remember Adam Plummer, a retired Marine veteran and cherished member of the Children of Fallen Heroes. Last weekend, we tragically lost Adam, along with Scott George and Charles Mather Jr. from Skydive Carolina, in a plane crash while they were traveling back from an unrelated event in Tennessee.
Adam was a mentor, friend, and hero. His dedication to serving his country and his unwavering commitment to Children of Fallen Heroes inspired us all. Adam’s infectious energy and genuine kindness touched everyone he met. Personally, Adam helped me navigate grief and make critical business decisions for our nonprofit, providing invaluable support and wisdom.
Scott George and Charles Mather Jr. were integral members of the Skydive Carolina family, known for their passion for skydiving and dedication to safety. Their loss is deeply felt by all who knew them.
As we mourn, we find solace in the memories we shared and the impact they had on our lives. We will carry forward their dedication to service and their passion for adventure, continuing to support the children and families who need us most.
Please keep Adam’s wife and children, as well as the families of Scott George and Charles Mather Jr., in your prayers during this difficult time.
Rest in peace, Adam Plummer, Scott George, and Charles Mather Jr. Your legacies will live on in our hearts and in the work of Children of Fallen Heroes.
With deepest sympathy,
Ken Wasley Founder & Children of Fallen Heroes Family
