The City of Graham, NC presented the Second Annual 9/11 Commemorative 5K Event. On Saturday, September 10 was coordinated by Graham Recreation & Parks, City of Graham NC Fire Department, and the Graham Police Department.
Donations were also collected for the Children of Fallen Heroes organization, which provides support and immediate needs for surviving spouses and children of First Responders & Military fallen heroes.
On this day, we commemorated the tragic events of September 11, 2001. A day of a lot of sadness, a day of a lot of bravery, and a day Americans came together. This event brought the community together and included a special opening ceremony to remember this day that will never be forgotten. #NeverForget
